Your Inbox is Not Your Friend
Your Inbox is Not Your Friend!
That’s right folks, your inbox is not your friend!
There is a very difficult lesson to be learned by
new affilliates and that lesson is better learned early rather than later
by listening to the warnings of those who have experienced the almost
inevitable diaster that will occur if you allow your
email inbox to take over your valuable time.
You see, the big problem is that many of you are
going to think that it won’t happen to you.
Think again, because if you are anything like thousands of
others who dream of making a living with internet marketing and
have the same drive to learn and earn on the net, you can
pretty well rest assured that you will suffer at the hands of
your inbox.
As you search for more and more sources of information
from those who claim to have the “one and only” product
program or ebook to guarantee your success online,
you will be provided with multiple opportunities to
obtain that information, free or not, by signing up to
that particular “gurus” mailing list.
While it is not unreasonable to exchange your email address for
valuable free content you will become compelled to snag
and grab everything that comes along.
Signing up for one thing after the other, soon and before you know it, you will
become inudated with emails including newsletters, mini courses
and JV Product launces in an abundance.
Unfortunately, what begins as a gentle snowfall, quickly grows, snowballs
and then becomes an avalanche.
Your time and attention is preoccupied with an obsession
to read every email, grasping for shreds of helpful information.
As you become overwhelmed, you begin to panic.
Then the real battles begins as you feverishly start to delete and unsubcribe
from the vast number of emails that have overtaken you.
“But wait, which ones should I keep, will I be making a horrible
mistake if I get rid of this email subscription, I’m not sure!”
“What should I do! More panic, “I’ve got to make it in internet marketing!”
“I’ve got to get this under control!”
As weariness overshadows and dims your dream, a small growing
resolve sets in as you pare down the one to two thousand emails
in your inbox. You know you shouldn’t but you spend long hours managing your inbox.
“I have to be more selective”, you say to yourself. “I don’t have time for this.”
“Good grief, I still have to build my first website!”
“I wish someone would have warn me about this!”
“I have a dream and my inbox is not my friend.”
